GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY LETTER AUGUST 2026 Children’s Pantry At Adopted Kalantiyaw Elementary School By: PP Rose T. Gonzales On July 15, 2026, the Rotary Club of Diliman Central successfully conducted its Children's Pantry at Kalantyaw Elementary School, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to serving children and uplifting communities through compassion and generosity. The meaningful outreach was led by Legacy President Joanna D. Soliman, together with Vice-President Maricel De Belen, Past-President Rose T. Gonzales, and the dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Diliman Central. The project provided nutritious food, fresh fruits, essential snacks, and other basic necessities to pupils, bringing smiles and hope to the young beneficiaries. More than simply distributing goods, the Children's Pantry embodied Rotary's enduring spirit of "Service Above Self." It promoted the values of kindness, sharing, and community collaboration while encouraging every child to believe that they are valued and supported by people who genuinely care about their well-being and future. The success of this initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of the club members, school officials, teachers, volunteers, and generous partners whose dedication transformed the activity into a memorable and meaningful experience for the children. Through projects like the Children's Pantry, the Rotary Club of Diliman Central continues to create lasting impact by addressing immediate community needs while inspiring hope, compassion, and unity. Guided by the Rotary Year 2026–2027 theme, "Create Lasting Impact," the club remains steadfast in its mission to build stronger communities and improve lives—one act of service at a time.
