The Rotary Club of Diliman Central, under the compassionate leadership of The Legacy President Joanna D. Soliman, reached out to mothers and children in Samapli, Barangay Fairview, Quezon City through a meaningful Mother and Child Community Service Project, in cooperation with the Rotary Community Corps (RCC) East Fairview, Quezon City.
Together with Vice President/IPP Maricel De Belen, Executive Secretary /Past President Rose Gonzales, fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, and members of the Barangay Committee, the club shared more than essential nutrition items. We shared care, hope, compassion, and the assurance that every mother and every child matters.
Vitamins, milk, fruits, biscuits, oatmeal, and other nutritious essentials were distributed to families—not simply as provisions, but as small yet meaningful expressions of love and solidarity.
For a mother, receiving something that can nourish her child is more than a simple gift. It is a reminder that she is not alone. For a child, every nutritious meal represents an opportunity to grow healthier, dream bigger, and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
This initiative reminds us that service becomes most meaningful when it reaches the heart of a community. Through partnership, compassion, and collective action, Rotary continues to transform simple acts of kindness into lasting hope.
As we Create Lasting Impact, we believe that stronger communities begin with healthier families— and healthier families begin when we choose to care.
One mother. One child. One family at a time.
Together, we nourish lives, nurture hope, and build a better tomorrow.
Because in Rotary, Service Above Self is not merely a commitment—it is a promise to make a difference where it matters most.
